FBB - I've said before we should call the company belfastwat er not because of the wages dept but because of every other department that has been centralise d there over the last few years. It seems no matter what the work ethic is or what the statistics state anyone outside of the west link must think they are looked on as hicks. Whats that old saying "never keep all your eggs in one basket"!

Eh yea except this time around the TU rep for staff is proof that a little intelligen ce can go a long way. Don't normally agree with our wacky friend below but this time he has a point. Now if Aaron was in the running... ...

Thats a fair point FBB, but staff need to make the right choices when listing their preference s.

Vote for those who will subject themselves to the rigid task of getting the best performanc e for employees, rather than those who may simply wish only to further their careers.

Personally , I prefered candidates with a Trade Union background .

What do you all think of those standing for the pension scheme ballot? I'm not even sure that they all have NI water pensions! If you left before2008 you'd still be on the old civil service one.
bullet ConjureThyNoon on Saturday 25 June 2011 - 07:54:13
I see John Looney bin is seeking to elect himself to the pensions committee. What a guy, doesn't even work here and he's sticking his nose in. Of course he has depth, but only on the surface. Down deep inside, he is shallow.

ha ha ha level 6. There is a select few seem to get away with anything,n o matter how badly they perform. The Scarlet Pimpernel wouldnt be in it.
bullet paddy47 on Saturday 18 June 2011 - 03:08:24
Leakline - is that to do with the difference in the contracts or can they still not believe their luck that they were graded at level 6!
bullet LeakLine on Friday 17 June 2011 - 15:45:45
Its the same in the work control centre, it seems certain people get special treatment, or thats the way it seems anyway
bullet FBB on Friday 17 June 2011 - 15:25:26
even within some areas rules can be bent/ ignored/ changed to suit the right men and untill more people object it will continue to happen there is still a long way to go
bullet LeakLine on Friday 17 June 2011 - 12:50:01
thats very true, its always been the same. every area has their own way of doing things
bullet FBB on Friday 17 June 2011 - 12:29:30
different rules for different areas that dosen't sound like good practice. then again when did that ever mater here
bullet LeakLine on Friday 17 June 2011 - 05:18:59
@ FBB Operations and Wastewater in certain areas always did unblock their own pumps. They have just returned to doing it after a few issues which were raised by M&E. But will it be rolled out across the province, this is the real question !
bullet FBB on Tuesday 14 June 2011 - 12:09:16
are operations lifting/ unblocking pumps is this the end of m&e?

Lawrence Mackenzie will make few friends or develop business unless he changes his behaviour drasticall y. NIE won't even employ him as a junior clerk despite his alleged experience in utility companies.
bullet FBB on Monday 13 June 2011 - 15:11:26

Is there no help for the widows son?
bullet malairt on Monday 13 June 2011 - 06:43:09
I think Lawrence has prevailed upon a friend to help in times of need. If you look at the website, he has no staff and his title as Business Developmen t Director boils down to drumming up new business, nothing to do with existing business. He's probably on commission . It makes his CV look OK while he's looking for a real job.
